Friends of the Library -- Lewis County
Friends of the Library groups are formed to support libraries in communities. They are non-profit and charitable; and they often are involved in fund-raising, advocacy, volunteerism, public awareness campaigns and literacy programs.
Our Lewis County chapter holds book sales, helps provide volunteers for the Library's numerous programs and much more. Hohenwald Springfest was created specifically to help fund the Summer Reading Program, so we appreciate the vendors, sponsors and volunteers like you who support the library and Springfest. To find out more and become a member, you are welcome to attend one of our monthly meetings. |
Meetings
Friends of the Library meetings are held monthly in the meeting room of the Lewis County Public Library, 15 Kyle Avenue, Hohenwald, TN 38462. This is subject to change during certain months, so please check the Lewis County Herald's Calendar of Events or contact Friends of the Library by any of the methods below.

Membership
Membership has its benefits for young and old alike. Our spirited meetings provide a forum for members to express themselves, exchange ideas and use their skills and interests to help the Library with its various programs. We encourage high school students to join us as their schedules permit to get valuable volunteer experience that will set them apart on their college applications and help them land their first job.
Membership is affordable for all:
